Up here in the Sierra’s there are many of great places to go fly fishing, which is something my Dad, brother and myself have been doing for years. One place that we have always gone is in June Lake loop, Silver Lake. Well fishing season is kinda over at this point but it’s always a good time to go out shooting. One small pullout provided some excellent opportunities with reflections and boats.
One cloud hung over the lake making the light great, for a short while. Right off the bat the subject that caught all of our eyes was the boats. They just had a great look that created an even better pattern. Iwasn’t a hard shot and could have been taken a multitude of ways these were the two i liked.
Both were taken with a 24-70 f2.8 with about -1, in vivid. Since they were anchored to the ground it wasn’t hard to get physically close to them.
