Fall Color in the Grove

The one thing that always symbolized the Fall Season is the turning of the Aspen trees. It just so happens that there was a great grove of Aspens North of Mammoth and after a long day of drive through the park looking for critters that grove was looking pretty darn good in the afternoon light. No where to park but a good grove to walk to.

In this while grove of trees there was one section to the far left that stood out from all the others, it was these few trees that i liked. Aspens have great trunks, very white very straight. They also have some very unique characteristics if you ever look closely at them.

Ever since Color Efex Pro 4 came out i have been experimenting with the Detail Enhancer as well as the stacking of filters. With all these shots i applied detail enhancer and I have to admit i do like the way they came out. So it’s just one of those things to keep playing with.
