Getting the Old Timey Feel Back

Static’s are a great time to be working with black and whites and is something that i always look for. On Monday we had 55mph winds and the morning yielded lots of rain. Thankfully by 1330 the skies lifted and we had great puffies to work with. The crews needed the good weather too. Most people don’t realize this but the crews of those B25’s need the rides to pay for the fuel to get out to the show and back. Rain doesn’t help sell rides. The wind wasn’t didn’t help either.

This particular B25 stood out pretty darn well. This highly polished B25J “Old Glory” made for a great subject with the clouds. Not only was it parked the ideal position with little in the background, but also the silver is great for black and whites. In all honesty it was a real simple click with minimal processing work afterward. I love those shots!
