Ice is one of those really fun materials to work with because of all the textures. When the air and the water freeze they create these shapes and the shapes can give a whole lot of character to whatever it is you’re working with. Despite being treacherous to drive on, the ice is great fun to spend time with. Everything from light, to background and shear shape of the ice can make for some great shooting. In the winter it’s one of the key things to look for.
