I spent I while trying to figure out a good post to sum up this week. It’s been a really great week and it’s important to end a good week on a good note but I honestly I couldn’t think of any useful tips to bring up. While I was sitting at my desk doing some miscellaneous tasks after chores yesterday, I watched the light slowly go down and was surprised to look out and have such a beautiful sunset. Naturally I stopped and shot.

With the D3 and 24-70 f/2.8, I shot through my bedroom window as the sun was going down on the Gallatin Mountains behind my apartment. Nothing more than a straight shot, nothing to finish. It occurred to me that this was the perfect way to end the week. A simple click to warm the soul before another weekend of adventure behind the camera. All that’s needed now is a good book and a cup of coffee.
