One of the great things about Michigan is being in Michigan. Having spent so much time west of the rockies, it’s nice to be able to spend time east of the Rockies and walking along the Huron River seemed like a pretty good way to do just that. With the D4 and 24-70mm AF-S f/2.8, I was simply looking at the light coming through the trees hitting that great Spring foilage. Then using the Merge to HDR feature in Adobe Camera Raw I was able to keep the highlights from being blown out and the detail in the shadows. Fun simple images that tell the story of Spring in Michigan.
