Simple Pano question for you. When it comes to panos is it better for the pano to be long and skinny or shorter and wider? I keep playing with the different aspect ratios which differs greatly when you combine more images and I can’t decide whether spherical or cylindrical is a best. In some cases the answer is obvious in other it is difficult. This particular example was taken over at Paradise Valley during a sunset where there was great clouds but the light was hitting all the clouds. A tighter pano focuses more on the light but a wider shows more clouds. What’s better?
