We’re three weeks away from the beginning of the Fall Season which is one of my favorite seasons in the Rocky Mountains. Not only does the season bring great color but cool temperatures and more moisture to put out those annoying forest fires which the smoke has engulfed the valley. Right now is a little tough shooting with the ugly light and hot temps creating a rather unpleasant atmosphere for both landscapes and critters. The best options are early morning before the sun comes up or even late night light painting. You have to find the times and locations where the light and the temps will be the most workable.
