I see these shots all over the place and I always take note of them when I do. It’s the shot of the planes lined up with all their props in a perfect synchronization with one another. It can be a great look if the right light is on the planes and if the planes are spaced evenly with one another. It’s even one of those shots that can easily be a good black and white. I obviously choose not to do that on this one due to the nice light we had that morning.
This was taken at Oshkosh this past July. It was during the time of day when no one else was around which is great for shots like this. There were over a dozen T28’s that i could count and probably more at the show. The one in front attracted my eye instantly with the shark jaws and eyeball. I had never seen a T28 with that design or paint scheme so needless to say it was a favorite.
