It’s just a pretty place

The Fall in the park is always something i look forward to, even though most days consist of overcast skies with little to offer landscape photography. Well that certainly wasn’t the case this time around. There was great clouds all the way over to Cooke side which is out of the park to the far east, and as it so happens is one of my favorite spots because the Mountain range in that area is just beautiful. It’s also one of the best places to view the Mountain Goats.

Heading back through Lamar Valley is always eventful. For instance, the Lamar Canyon Wolf pack was out and they are always a whoot to watch. The thing about wolves is eventually they always head to the tree line to enjoy the shade. As they left as did I. Before leaving Lamar Valley I stopped for one last shot across the valley floor.
