It’s always a good time of the year when its spent with family. I consider myself to be able to drive down to the family home for Thanksgiving. Of course driving from Montana to California is no short drive. With Winter set in it takes even longer because the roads are icy are most be driven slower. Therefore a stop over in Salt Lake City is usually needed. Along the way down I had to stop at one of my favorite places Bear River Refuge which after many failed attempts of visiting due to high waters i finally got in. It was very quiet but the mountains had a good glow around them.
