A little different but still fun

I don’t normally work with helicopters but this past year at Oshkosh I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of different models. This one is the unmistakable Huey made so famous back in Vietnam where it used for a variety of purposes including combat and medivac. This particular one is rigged with replica missile pods, wing mounted cannons and door cannons. The trick to photographing such a subject just like any other warbird is to try and get the romance behind it.
