I finally came to the end of the road. It was either stop or start going in the wrong direction. I pulled over, got out, grabbed the 14-24, and walked up a small hill to watch the last 30 minutes of light fade on this gorgeous thunderhead. Oddly enough I never saw any lightning. It was a great evening to be out shooting. There was no dense cloud cover out to the west blocking the sun so the great colors appeared briefly before the sun went all the way down. I stayed and watched both the north side and south side, two very different views but great light both ways.
