I found out just a few days ago, right after I got back from Michigan, that Bozeman was having their sixth annual Memorial Day Parade. It’s not something that I previously knew about but probably should have, so it seemed like the perfect thing to do yesterday morning. Now I had never been to any of the parades in Bozeman before so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I grabbed the D4 and 24-70 f/2.8 and slung it around my shoulder for the parade. I wasn’t quite sure what would make the best background but the show center was at the court house so that seemed like the best spot.

After the parade concluded there was another ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. It’s amazing the things you learn about but I actually didn’t about this wall before I went yesterday. It just shows even in your home town there’s always something else to discover. Well it was a very well done ceremony honoring all vets from Bozeman.
